Naughty Teachers and Rooftop Dinners

.This made me chuckle: "Do you want to experience another user name?"  yes, please

Awesome teachers being totally disrespectful and eating/drinking in my new classroom. Thanks!
When I have all of my students this coming week, I will meet 11 Ahmeds, 13 Alis, 7 Fatimas, and 14 Mohameds.  Good thing they each have at least two more names printed on my rosters that will help me differentiate their names from each other.  Ready, brain?  Yesss.
On the rooftops of Bahrain...coo, what a sight.  Eating halloumi cheese/nummy sauce wraps up where there's a breeze with my lovely and brave roomie, Deena Baskin.

  1. Hey Laura! I love your blog posts! I especially like that in order to write them you've had to type upside down and inside out. Have you figured it out yet? They say that one should switch things up like that more often, because it helps exercise the brain, kind of like you were suggesting. Bahrain looks beautiful in the day and at night and your coworkers seem totally rad. Thanks for sharing your travels.

  2. Cass! Thank you for checking out the old Bahrain blog - I miss you! My coworkers are rad, indeed. A few of us played soccer the other day after school in the middle school gym, and it felt like I was home a little bit. Things that are the same: 1)being goalie is still hard, 2)it still makes me glisten pretty much a lot, and 3)it still makes me happy. I hope you're enjoying ultimate and fooootball, and that the leaves are thinking of turning pretty colors for your camera to capture soon. And school! I hope that is rolling nicely. Fortunately, I did find the button that will allow me to write left to right like I am used to. It is much easier that way, but you're right - it was an invaluable experience to try it backwards. (: Thank you for being a part of my travels! All the best, Cass!!
