A coffee shop at the top.
The elevator up with new friends.
Look out from the open-air coffee place in the sky.
A sunny rendez vous with friends from choir, Julianna and Sabi from Hungary and new friends who were also strolling through the park and are also from Hungary. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon!
Al Khalifa Park. Places to play football and frisbe!!!! We fed fish out on that cove.
Through a little open window at the top. The triangle buildings are Bahrain's trade towers. There are huge fans in between the buildings that they say they turn on when important people come to Bahrain.
Going down. Park's at the bottom.
Julianna made fish food! The fish loved it - went right for the paprika.
Al-Riwaq. Lemon. Roommate hard at work.
Blending in at a little restuarant on the way home from school.
The rubble in the road behind me makes the road dysfunctional- cuts it off from the main roads. We're in a village where protests happen sometimes. Most times, kids just ride around these bikes and pigeons fly about. We got tasty fried onion thingies from the little store. They stay hot by a house lightbulb. Happy Thursday!
